1. TO ENTER: To enter, go to sears.com/runawaysweeps and follow the onscreen instructions to register on the website to enter. The Run Away To Romance Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins on January 24, 2010 at 12:00 AM CST and ends February 15, 2010 at 11:59 PM CST. Limit one entry per person per day. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected, illegible or incomplete entries, all of which are void. Entries become Sponsor’s property and will not be acknowledged or returned.
   
   
2. ELIGIBILITY: Open only to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia (excludes Alaska and Hawaii) who are 18 or older at the time of entry, excluding employees of Sears Holdings Corporation, its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, related companies and advertising and promotion agencies, and the families and/or household members of each of the above.
   
   
3. DRAWING: On or about February 19, 2010, potential winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. Drawing will be conducted by a Sponsor representative, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Potential winners do not need to be present at time of drawing; they will be contacted by mail, email or telephone in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
   
   
4. PRIZES AND THEIR APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”): TWO (2) Grand Prizes: Each Grand Prize is a trip for Grand Prize Winner and one (1) Guest to his/her choice of one of the following four destinations: Napa Valley, CA; Charleston, SC; Austin, TX; or New York City, NY. Each Grand Prize consists of round trip coach air transportation between major airport nearest Grand Prize Winner’s home and destination city for Grand Prize Winner and Guest, three (3) nights double occupancy hotel accommodations at a hotel designated by Sponsor, round trip ground transportation between airport and hotel in selected destination city, one (1) $500 American Express Gift Card and up to nine hundred dollars ($900) to assist Grand Prize Winner with his/her applicable federal and state tax liability on the prize. ARV of each Grand Prize: $3,900; and Eleven (11) Runner-Up Prizes: Each Runner-Up Prize consists of one (1) two hundred dollar ($200) Sears Gift Card. ARV of Runner-Up Prize: $200. Total ARV of all Prizes: $10,000.00. Any difference between stated approximate value and actual value of Grand Prize will not be awarded. All expenses and costs associated with the acceptance and use of the Prizes are the sole responsibility of the Prize Winners. In the event a Grand Prize Winner resides within a 180 mile radius of the selected destination city, the air transportation portion of the Grand Prize will not be awarded and Sponsor will provide ground transportation between the Grand Prize Winner’s home and the selected destination city. Sponsor will not reimburse Grand Prize Winner for any difference between the cost of ground transportation and the cost of air transportation. Each Grand Prize Winner will be solely responsible for all expenses and costs not expressly listed above including, but not limited to, any and all ground transportation between winner’s residence and airport of departure, ground transportation while in selected destination city, meals, telephone calls, gratuities, baggage fees and personal incidentals. Each Grand Prize Winner will be required to provide a valid credit card at the time of hotel registration and will be solely responsible for any and all incidentals charged to the hotel room upon hotel check-out. Each Grand Prize Winner and Guest must travel on the same itinerary and are responsible for obtaining necessary travel documents prior to departure. Grand Prize Trips must be completed by December 31, 2010. If a Guest is deemed a minor under the jurisdiction of his/her state of residence, Guest must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. No additional travel expenses or any other aspects of the Grand Prize will be awarded should Guest’s parent or legal guardian be required to accompany Guest. Sponsor shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitutions or any act or omissions whatsoever by the air carriers, hotels or other transportation companies or any other persons providing any of these services and accommodations to passengers including any results thereof such as changes in services or accommodations necessitated by same. Sponsor shall not be liable for any loss or damage to baggage.  If either a Grand Prize Winner or Guest becomes disabled or cannot otherwise fully enjoy the Sweepstakes prize package due to illness, Sponsor shall have the option at its sole discretion of: (1) being relieved of liability for fulfillment of the prize award or any part thereof; (2) extending the period during which such prize may be awarded for a period equal to the duration of Grand Prize Winner’s or Guest’s disability or illness. Grand Prize Winner or Guest must prove such disability by a doctor’s certificate, which certificate shall be endorsed by another physician agreeable to Sponsor and Grand Prize Winner at Grand Prize Winner’s expense. Grand Prize Grand Prize Trips are subject to any and all restrictions instituted by the Department of Defense and/or Department of Homeland Security as required. Limit one prize per household. Sears Gift Cards are redeemable at any participating Sears store location or at Sears.com. Prizes are subject to all terms and conditions of the Sears Gift Card, the Sweepstakes, and all applicable federal and state laws.
   
   
5. PRIZE ACCEPTANCE: Prizes are not transferable. Taxes on prizes are sole responsibility of the prize winners. Each Grand Prize Winner will receive a 1099 IRS tax form at year end for the actual retail value of his/her prize.  No prize substitutions or cash redemptions allowed except by Sponsor, who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize becomes unavailable. Prize winners may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility/prize acceptance/release of liability and publicity (where permitted) within a time period designated by Sponsor, or prize may be forfeited.  Prizes won by minors (under applicable state law) will be awarded in minor’s name to a parent or legal guardian, who will be required to sign all required documents. Sponsor will make two (2) attempts to notify potential prize winner(s) at the U.S. Mail address submitted at the time of entry.  If a potential prize winner cannot be reached, if he/she is found to ineligible, if he/she cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, or if his/her prize or prize notification or any prize correspondence is returned as undeliverable, potential prize winner may be disqualified and an alternate prize winner may be selected from the remaining eligible entries at Sponsors’ sole discretion. By accepting a prize, each prize winner consents to use of his/her name and likeness for advertising purposes worldwide without limitation and without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
   
   
6. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:  By participating in the Sweepstakes, each prize winner agrees to release Sponsor and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, related companies and advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents from any and all liability, loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with their participation in this Sweepstakes or with respect to awarding, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of any prize.  Sponsor is not responsible for any printing, typographical, mechanical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prize. Sponsor is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion via mobile phone. If for any reason, this program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes.  Sponsor reserves the right to select winners from eligible entries received as of the termination date.  Sponsor further reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
   
   
7. WINNERS’ LIST:  Names of prize winners will be available at sears.com/runawaysweeps; after March 1, 2010 and until April 30, 2010.
